Zechariah then had to stay silent during Elizabeth’s pregnancy (which may or may not have been a good thing for Elizabeth…). We can imagine that it caused him to do a fair amount of reflecting on the incredible nature of God’s work. Do you ever wish there were times when you were silent as you waited on what the Lord had for you? Do you think that the silence helped Zechariah to understand more about God?
